Words of welcome from our Ministry
Thanks
to the Age of the Internet, you are now able to contact us and we you via
this, our Church Website. We hope you will enjoy your visit and be tempted, if
you are ever in Cornwall, to call in and see us.
Paul is a Parish covering 3,235 acres in Penwith District of West Cornwall.
The normal population is around 2500 but this increases to between 3000 and
4000 during the holiday season. As well as our own church, there are two
Methodist chapels in the parish and their service times are 11:00am and
6:00pm, the minister is Revd. Julyan Drew. We hold a number of joint services
and activities during the year, one of the most popular of which is an outdoor
“Songs of Praise” held on Mousehole Quay.
Paul
is one of 26 parishes in the Deanery of Penwith and is part of the Diocese of
Truro, the latter has its own website where you can find more information
about churches in Cornwall; literature is also available in Paul Church
together with a short history of the church. We hope you will be able to visit
us in person some time, but if not, we hope you will enjoy finding out more
about us via this website and perhaps be able to share something of the
presence of God which those who have worshipped here over many centuries have
felt, and still do today.
