Paul parish covers 3,235 acres to the west of Penzance. Within its boundaries are two quite large housing estates on the edge of Newlyn, the fishing village of Mousehole, the village of Paul itself, and a number of small hamlets and outlying farms. The congregations at our main Sunday morning services average 90 – 100 people and visitors are always welcome to this or the variety of activities which take place during the week.

The Parish church of St Pol de Leon is set high up on a ridge overlooking Mount’s Bay, the tower was built early in the 15th Century and is one of the tallest in Cornwall.  Much of the church was rebuilt following the Spanish raid of 1595 in which most of Mousehole and Paul, including the church, was burnt down. Nowadays Paul Church is light, airy and spacious and we hope you will be able to visit us in person some time and perhaps be able to share something of the presence of God which those who have worshipped here over many centuries have felt, and still do today.
